The stage is set for China to eventually lead the world in green power

From China Daily:

China’s cities are again seeing blue skies, urban pollution levels are declining and water and energy consumption per unit of GDP has dropped considerably. China has also become the world’s largest producer and installer of solar panels, and in cities like Beijing they are converting their coal-fired manufacturing and heating plants to natural gas. The city subway systems and high-speed trains that are increasingly crisscrossing the country also contribute to cutting down on emissions and help develop new technologies that can be used around the world.

In his Government Work Report delivered at the first session of the 13th National People’s Congress, Premier Li Keqiang outlined further progress on the environment that the country will make this year.
